Boiling hot water tap

We don't drink much in the way of hot drinks, so there's no constant trail back and forward to the kettle.
I'm going to do away with a plugged in kettle altogether and use a hob top induction kettle as induction hobs boil faster than kettles and are more efficient. It solves the issue of countertop clutter.
The more I've experienced hot taps, the less I feel like we need one. They do take up valuable space, they should be serviced, they maintain the temperature constantly so they are going to be using a constant trickle of power.
If we drank more tea I'd probably appreciate the convenience, but there are other things I can and will be spending money on that will make things more convenient for our family.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
