https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-white-cordless-17l-kettle/p/0316169 will give you boiling water. You could buy 100 of them for the same price.
I'd be pretty cheesed off after spending £600 on a tap.0 -
A good example of a solution looking for a problem.
Unless you have a particular need for one, such as dexterity/mobility/motor strength requirements that make operating a kettle difficult and/or unsafe.0 -
And fill up the limited space under your sink with a heater and water filter .Ex forum ambassador

Short answer: Yes it will.
It's basically a tap with a built-in kettle. Up to you whether that's a good value proposition though; the price is definitely coming down on them though, we do tap+tank for ~£500.0 -
Not all will dispense boiling water. The cheaper ones don't always but provide close to boiling.
I love ours and wouldn't be without it.0 -
If you want a much cheaper idea then go for a "smart kettle",that combined with Google or Amazon devices will boil it.
Personally I would not waste my money on either choices but each to their own.0 -
Friends of ours did a house sit at a property with one of those. They did use it, but also used the kettle at times. It's a lot of money, and I don't suppose it will be much cheaper, if any cheaper, than a kettle to use.0

if you live in a hard water area, does the hot water tap become furred up? And if so, how do you clean it?
We had a hot water tap in the US during the 1990s - it was a bit gimmicky and was hardly used, coffee machine and a kettle being preferred for our drinks.0 -
I inherited a quoker when I bought my current home, I've found the convienience great and wouldn't be without it. Also easy to repair and maintain as I can testify when mine suffered some minor damage during kitchen refit.0
