    Where would I start???

JackieO is a wonderful example to us all, there is the other Jacqueline from Glasgow.....who picked me up at Prestwick airport in spite of her husband's fear that Meanmarie might be an axe murderer!!Thanks to her I have a lovely picture of dear late pets Kerry and Thunder by another wonderful MSER......Sue Green.

Then there is Hester, Csarina, Monnagran, Mrs McAwber, Caterina (sorry to hear that her OH is unwell), Ivy ,Grey Queen, Lame Wolf, Mrs Lurcherwalker, and all the lovely people too numerous to mention, especially our departed friends Pink, Diva, Twink and Squarely.

I have learned so much since February 07 and made so many friends in this wonderful fellowship, it is not just a money saving site but a platform for worldwide friendship.

I am more of a lurker than a poster and come Tuesday next week I'll have lurked/posted for ten years. All I can say is I second all of the above. Absolute legends :T

What a wonderful thread. Can't disagree with any of the above, all fantastic posters. I miss those that aren't around anymore, Queenie and Black Sabbath in particular.

Grey Queen, what can I say, she's thrifty, knowledgeable and a brilliant writer. Reading her adventures in Marie Kondoing at the parents home was one of the things to look forward to at holiday times, so heartwarming and funny, also tales from the junktique shop.

I agree with all of the previous posts!
Special mentions from me are Grey Queen, Jackie O, Mrs Lurcher Walker, Lame Wolf, Twink, Hard Up Hester, Kittie, Thrift Wizard, Frugal Queen, Ming Vase (Madarthur)...... there are so many but right now other names have escaped me :-(

I think this thread is a lovely way of saying how much we appreciate the wit and wisdom of so many cyber "friends", even if we may never meet in the real world!

Bargain Rzl, of course the lovely Ruth who sings so well bless her, and our departed Squeaky who was so good at setting up recipe threads all those years ago,.we met up at the Blackpool meet so long ago now

The very funny Nelski whom I adopted many years ago :) I have lost count of so many of the smashing people on here, and even on the discussion board, daft Student Phil and the extremely irreverent Nellie whose one aim in life was to ride every big amusement ride in the world and yet managed to get some of the moderators in a flap (he was always getting barred)

Thanks to each and every one of you I am more than glad to be your 'friend' virtual or in reality

    Cheers chums

My holiday is almost over and I shall be back in the Garden of England by Saturday night all being well that the ferry and the M25 don't slow me down too much :)

:) I'm a total fan girl for monnagran, Jackie0, MrsLW, Thriftwizard, HupH DigforVictory and so many others, I see their user names and think Oooh good, that'll be well worth reading. I love MSE Old Stylers. So very many good people that it's hard to single anyone out.........
