As title says...
Basically ive broken my phone AGAIN but still have a few months left on my three contract.
The phone i would like next is a Catapillar s61 (rugged/tough smart phone)
Since they dont seem to be readily availible on contract (apart from vodafone, are almost a grand and i have a few months still on my own contract my idea was...
To maybe finance the CAT S61 handset from somewhere, use my current contract untill it ends and then either go to PAYG or a SIM ONLY contract?
Anyone ever financed just a handset and/or done something similar to the above?
Muchos thanks
James

Yes I bet loads of people have done it.
Nothing wrong with the idea, a 0% card might be a good idea so you can spread the cost and pay the monthly amount.0 -

Thats a good idea! its good to talk. Ive never had a credit card and have only ever had one loan in the past so my credit score is probably non existent.0 -

Don't read too much into the credit score, only yourself can see it.

Yes. VOXI offer exactly this. My son has an iPhone on 0% finance direct from the Apple shop, and a separate SIM only deal.0

Unless you need the thermal imaging camera and related heavy duty features or are hoping to keep it for several years it'd be cheaper to just buy regular phones and treat them as disposable.0
