Absolutely! It is a bit freaky getting the forms and they look like a big hurdle to climb but like the others have all said, post any questions you have and we will do what we can to help!
The other option is to take the forms and all your info down to your local CAB and they will help you fill them in.
When i got the forms, i phoned up and got a court appointment for two weeks later, one to make sure i didn't procrastinate and two to get it all sorted by xmas!
It is scary hun but really, being in debt is a lot more scary!! Best of luck and look forward to hearing how you are getting on!:j
Oooooh and well done for getting started!:T0 -
Will I still be able to trade Self Employed after my BR?0
-
As far as i am aware, you can still be self employed after going BR...the only thing you can't do is be a director of a company
Am sure someone will correct me if i am wrong here!!0 -
Ok so 2 years on and I'm finally going BR this Thursday coming.
Some may wonder why I didn't do this years ago but I got scared and backed out. Until now I have been paying enough to the Creditors to keep them quiet and if I'm honest enjoyed myself as my stress levels where far too high.
So now I'm looking forward to 2010 for the new beginning! Currently un-employed studying Plumbing for a new Career. So with this finally dealt with hopefully I can move on with my life!
I won't pretend I'm not nervous but I just want it over and done with, My life must go forward and with this done nothing will hold me back (Hopefully).
Please be nice Mr OR!0 -
I have just read your thread and didn't relise till your last post that you have been dealing with this for 2 years. You are so right, enough is enough, go forth with the BR and we'll see you on the other side for a fresh start - here's to 2010

Just finishing my BR forms,
I'm really struggling on question 11.2: What do you think are the reasons for you not having enough money to pay your debts? You should provide reasons to support your answer. For example, it would not be enough to state "The Recession" without explaining its effect on your affairs.
I understand its an individual question but I can't seem to answer it. Any advice appreciated.0
