Thanks all. Just for privacy! Turns out I could just ring rightmove and they have deleted them. Will keep an eye on zoopla to see if they appear on there.

I googled when bought my house and saw the photos on at least 4 different sites. I just emailed them all and within a matter of days they all deleted the photos. It was really easy.

I’m surprised more people don’t want the photos deleted of a house they have bought.

But then again I’m a private person and like my privacy. I even on my last house went as far as pixelating the front of my old house on google street view. That I wouldn’t recommend though because once you’ve done it you can’t put it back and wasn’t great for when I came to sell!

Imposing your paranoia on the next owners, too.

All that does is give the impression that there's something especially interesting about you or your house - not really the sort of effect intended!

When people do this it makes me wonder how they intend to pixelate the actual real life image that anyone walking past can see :rotfl:

When selling my flat, I asked agent to photograph only certain rooms without any personal stuff visible on them, knowing that they will probably stay in internet history. Didn't want any one who knew my address to check out how I live during or after sale.

In case of house I bought, agent removed it pretty quickly from Rightmove and it didn't populate to other websites. Zoopla has some archival photos from sales listings but they are mix of 3 different houses from the development when they were brand new. Luckily I live on private road, so Google Street View doesn't work and only recently Google caught up with satellite image.

Still, anyone can see copy of title register in Land Registry to check if I have mortgage or not, which I don't like.
