Email rightmove or zoopla with proof you own the house and they will remove them.
I had photos of my house removed for security. I have large glass doors to the rear of my property (out of public view) that would be an easy point of entry to my house. Obviously, if someone wanted to get in to my house they would easily manage it regardless, I just don't want my house to stand out as a visibly easy target by someone doing a quick skim online through property listings.
I bet 90% of the houses on my street have the same, And its all visible on google maps, A far more easy to tool for thieves, And street view also shows where all the Audis and BMW's are and where the owners have the cctv!0 -

Thanks all. Just for privacy! Turns out I could just ring rightmove and they have deleted them. Will keep an eye on zoopla to see if they appear on there.
Privacy from what exactly?
There's a lot of information about houses that are public records that anyone could look up if they so wished.0 -
So due for an update any day now, They just updated my street from 2008/9, that has always been the pattern i have seen, And main roads around every 5 years.
A van I bought three years ago finally popped up on Street View. And on Google Earth, my dog agility jumps that only joined the household over the winter. Brand new picture!0 -
Unless they have moved a 10 year old street view is fine, The car will just be the latest model.
Anyway if i wanted to target the nice areas in town a quick look on Rightmove would tell me the most expensive parts where every car will be 50K plus.0 -
Street View may be somewhat more irrational than an update every 10 years.
Here, we have 2009 and 2010, both at a dismal time of the year. The posh end of the village gets late May, of course.
At least the 2010 doesn't have a tractor hurling ordure in the field opposite our place. We have just arrived, but none of the vehicles would attract a burglar, before or after. Anyway, here they only want your chain saw, or maybe your sheep.
The history slider is a nice feature. It shows a distant neighbour cut down two trees between '09 and '10: slide it back to 2009 and they pop up where he built a shed! Two years later the shed came down and was rebuilt, but the ancient aerial view still shows half of it in his neighbours' garden on Nimbus Maps.0 -

....And the Land Registry will sell copies of the title documents to anyone.0

My usual response when looking at old sale details on Zoopla is "oh no, I liked it much better then - why have they messed about with it?.... and what lots more monet for doing so"0
