Now TV Gift cards Question

Options
I noticed that Now TV entertainment package can be bought as aa £25 gift card giving 5 months access. This looks to be considerably better value than the £7.99 per month subscription.

Is there a catch?

    Thank you .

As someone who is cutting Virgin TV this looks like a great option.

If you use these passes , do you have to let them run out, cancel then start again or can you apply the new code before the old one expires to get continuous service?

Not really sure, but I usually buy a voucher within the last month or sooner if offer is good (checking use by date first). Cancel the pass as to avoid the higher cost, the pass remains until the date expires. Then i carry on as normal, then when I get the "I need a pass to watch further", redeem code and sorted.
