Hi.
If anyone is using Primus as their calls package, are you not able to dial out?
All night and today I cannot dial out, and primus customer services is constantly busy with an engaged tone.
To use my line I have to dial 1280 then the number to use the BT network, I've only been with Primus for a few days and so far I've had terrible call quality and now no line at all!!

Working perfectly here in Essex (the GL is currently into about her 20th minute of a national call)..Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

I eventually got through to planet talk, apparently it was a big system outage even with their own telephone call centre.
I've requested cancellation immediately, only been with them since the 14th Nov and it's crap!

I think you've just been unlucky and would advise not cutting off your nose to spite your face.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Even with BT you can lose the phone sometimes.
These things happen, I have found Primus OK.0 -
I have been with them for nearly 18 months now and up until a few weeks go had no problems then the Internet went down for several days and the other day email (phones always been OK)but I still like them and will stay for another few months to see if all there upgrades work.Look after the pennies and the pounds will spend themselves0

unfortunately I am again experiencing problems with them, I've requested to cancel immediately. My house is linked to ADT monitoring system, and they have called me several times asking why my phone line is not able to communicate with their systems - if I do not let ADT know there is a problem with my line the police are called to my property to check it out.0

Myself & my Mother who is also with Primus are having great difficulty getting through. Constantly being told "Sorry there is a fault", maybe dialling 10 times to get through.
No answer to my email of several days ago - I'm thinking of taking us both to Skytalk as we're both Sky Tv subscribers and they offer free weekend & evening calls too (we use 18185 during the day).0 -

7 days on and no reply to email and the problem seems to be getting worse - I'm jumping ship!0

Sorry to jump on this thread but I am confused about Primus. I used uswitch to change to Primus 2, but the email just came through saying £7.99 a month charge. On Heinz signature there is a link about 6 steps to save .... one says sign up to Primus Saver Option 2 'no monthly subscription'. Anyone else been asked to pay?0
