Afternoon all you lovely motivational folks! This morning saw me off to dentists for hygenists appointment and then meeting with removal company who are doing a quote for our move where 2 homes will be becoming one. I am so excited I could go pop!! I have mindmapped lots of meal plan ideas, made a store cupboard list and can not wait to have everything under one roof, be able to batch cook and learn how to use an Aga! Dinner tonight - steak and salad ... keeping it simple0

Afternoon - more time now for a longer post.
After giving DM her breakfast I headed out to collect the remainder of her meds. Stopped off at Marks for a couple of bits for DM, she needs some tempting to eat. She's not too good this morning so we are back to swings and roundabouts again.
Thanks to whoever suggested the blue bandage from HB (snoozer?) - I got one today and like that it doesn't need safety pins or the weird claws which came with the old type. Glad to say that my ability to make an proper figure-of-eight wrap hasn't left me.
The sun is going in, giving way to dark clouds. Tomorrow is forecast to be horrible.
Now it's time for a sit done and a read.0 -
Lovely morning here but rain by lunchtime, hopefully it will clear. It's definitely cooler, OH lit the living room fire, no heating on yet, I have only quarter tank of oil left so want to wait a bit longer to top up......around 700 e for a fill of oil, which will hopefully take us well into 2020.
DGD6 will be 3 tomorrow, she had her party with her sisters last month so think that it will just be a cake with candles.......candles are very important when you are 3!
Hugs for those looking after a sickly relative and those not feeling well.

Afternoon all
Went out this morning to collect Mr Fix It's script, then on to the chemist to get it filled, back to pick up Dad and called into DD's to give SiL his birthday card and money. We also gave DGS his headphones as part of his birthday present too as he was desperate for them :rotfl:. ( just couldn't wait til the 1st when he'll have the rest his present ! )
On to currys next to find a new microwave for Dad, so many different ones for him to choose from and when he finally made his selection, it was OOS . We had to go to an out of town currys instead, but hurray success at last !! As it was lunchtime we went into the nearby Tes*o for coffee and a sandwich and I bought bread and milk, then back to Dad's to fit the new microwave. Sod's law the plug wouldn't fit through the hole in his cupboard so we came home to pick up a hole enlarger thingy (ooooh er missus ). Back to Dad's, job done, packaging put in the recycling and old microwave outside awaiting disposal and just now we're home ! Blimey, ever felt like you were on a piece of elastic ? :rotfl:
Now it's feet up time !!! :j
Take care and hugs to all.

Evening
busy day today, we are short staffed at work so trying to cover other areas. Hopefully will have some new people soon.
Ms wise 2 lots of washing out and dried today, leftover veg added to cheesy pasta to use up, its DS favourite for dinner. Home made packed lunches taken and tonight’s leftovers will be used for tomorrow. Last of strawberries will also be taken for a little something sweet.
I agree with scarlet ribbons that autumn always makes you feel a bit sad, I’m a real warm weather lover and the thought of cold damp days with dark mornings and evenings makes me want to hiber.
