Unpaid parking fine, resulted in CCJ now letter from DCBL?

Hello,

Just looking for some advice. I have read over the other posts but none really relating to my situation.

I got a parking ticket through parking eye back in 2016, when I read over everyone told me not to pay as it was a private company ( id not long passed my driving test and was unsure about what to do ) I received numerous letters and was told to just ignore. I then ended up with a CCJ which I have now had for the past 2 years - 3 in April. I’ve not received anything for a while and was just going to ride the CCJ out as it’s already affected my credit.

I recieved a letter yesterday from DCBL about the outstanding fine. They haven’t added a fee on as the amount is the same as the CCJ.
Do I pay to settle the debt or just ignore?
I’m just concerned that if I don’t pay they will come to my parents house.

Thanks in advance.

What was wrong with the answer on the previous thread? Starting two threads won't get two different answers.
  • It was an accident I didn’t intend to do 2 posts, my page refreshed and submitted it again. I am trying to rectify it now. I am new to this I have never used it before.

Just let this one die. It will soon drop off the page. No harm done.

Use edit to remove all the text from your OP above

Replace it with something like "Duplicate thread. Please ignore"

Then use edit/go advanced to edit your thread title to read the same message

    Happens to me sometimes too.
