The landowner has offered to write a letter stating I was a patron and that he has asked the parking company to cancel the PCN. However, he hanst yet provided this and is now saying that the parking company are also taking him to court because he switched the APNR camera off because his customer are being harassed. Can I use this even though he wont say this in a letter?

Ignore my last post.. I now have the letter saying I was a customer, had permission to park, he instructed the parking company to cancel and he had to remove them from managing the car park as they were hassling his genuine customers

    Gold dust! :)
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Court hearing was today via telephone call.  Decision was to strike out the claim.  CEL didnt turn up but the judge in Portsmouth courts decided to go ahead in their absence.  He noted that I proved I was a patron of the restaurant; he said hes not interested in any signage argument; he noted I am also claiming an abuse of process and that I reference a recent case nearby in Southampton and agrees and therefore is striking out the claim on that basis.  Took less than 10 minutes.
Thank you to everyone for your help.
Brilliant ..... A NICE LINE along the south coast  where parking scammers are not welcome
I.O.W, Southampton, Portsmouth, Lewis and Worthing

But you know, these stupid scammers and very dodgy legals will still try their luck, losing money and making themselves look idiots

They couldn't even "turn up" for a phone call!
