Cancelled Google Pixel phone order?
ordered a Pixel phone online from the Google store (UK), changed my mind and went back an hour later to cancel the order. The order had not been processed but there was no option anywhere to cancel it. Monday morning I contact Google via chat, nothing they can do other than suggest when the order arrives by courier that I refuse it. She said I will receive a refund on my card when the order is returned to them, and that it can take up to 14 days. Is this correct, it sounds cockeyed seeing as the order had not even begun being processed, and I hope there are no penalties involved for refusing a delivery ?

This is the procedure according to Google.Cancel a delivery
Find the order with the delivery that you want to cancel.
Select View order.
Tap or click Cancel delivery. If you don’t see this option, it’s too late to cancel it.
You’ll get an email from the Google Store confirming that your delivery was cancelled.
If you have multiple deliveries, you can cancel single deliveries instead of the whole order. If you don’t want anything from your order, cancel all the deliveries.

I returned to Google Store within 1 hour of placing the order, there was no option to cancel available anywhere on the website. (if it ever existed). They could have cancelled the order in chat on Monday morning, but didn't. Monday afternoon I get an email your delivery is being processed. Tuesday morning the DHL driver arrives with the phone and I refuse to accept delivery, currently it's on it's way back to Google, this is such wasteful nonsense.0
