Pandora Charms

  • I would rather my skin didn't turn green or suffer some other kind of adverse reaction. Also, counterfeit items can sometimes fund organised crime. No way would I buy a fake. If you look out for voucher codes, or wait until the sales, you can get genuine Pandora items directly from Pandora for a more affordable price.

Absolutely a fair comment, my post was more concerned with the value/price of the items and the fact that I was leaned on to spend £200+ on £8 of scrap silver.
It reminded me of a deceased High Street chain called Ratners.

I've had mine for years, well before the whole world started buying the charms. I haven't worn it since watching an episode of Eastenders and big Mo happened to be wearing one. That killed it for me. I wouldn't buy from eBay, it's awash with fakes. The genuine charms aren't too bad to be fair, and your children can club together to buy a new one for your wife's birthday/Christmas etc. Links of London seems better though.

I've been leaned on by my daughters to buy my wife Pandora charms and they have come from the Pandora store in town.

I appreciate that Jewellery is as much about sentiment but to be honest a 99p Chinese fake is better value than an original £50 charm that is worth less than £2 as scrap as soon as you walk out the door.

Pandora-style beads have existed in the jewellery craft world long before Pandora became famous. I remember making Pandora-style bracelets as a teenager years before I had ever heard of them. So you don't even need to buy Chinese knock-offs as those styles of beads do exist from legitimate companies although they obviously won't have the logo on them. It amazes me how much Pandora charges for beads given the materials they use.

I have a Chamilia thats so full of Star Wars charms its too heavy to wear really.
The kids gave me a nomination bracelet for my birthday last year and I much prefer that, it's not bulky but its personal to me. I wear that all the time.
