Hey I bought a mahooosive £1.25p bag horse carrots the other week, we been munching on them now 4 ages.
A girl I know, who is like horsey type, says they are generally fresher than supermarket carrots, ne way I had em 4 me tea again 2night n they were lovely.
Gonna buy some more.
Only thing had few side effects on me mum, I caught her the other day wiv her head over the back fence eating straw and she asked me take her the blacksmiths for new shoes? CRAZY:D

nothing wrong with them, they are the ones the supermarkets refuse as they dont 'conform' to their spec, to big wrong shape etc
i normally blanch a load and use in caseroles etc....
i normally buy a 12.5kg bag/net for around the £2- £2.50 markWork to live= not live to work0 -
yes, not a problem - especially for bulk cooking soup or casserole veg for later.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott
It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.0 -

if youre going to eat that many, expect to go orange
nothing wrong with them at all, just either too big/small or wrong shape for supermarkets.0 -
