Is this a real letter before claim?

I haven't sent any letter yet, other than those I mentioned in my bullet point post.
I am a bit confused because I see so many people sending out the long letter I posted, and had comments back saying looks good, but apparently it's old. I genuinely did look at the Newbies thread as well and honestly couldn't find what I need to send now.
I'm sorry if I'm being thick but could anyone point me in the right direction of what I should do next?
My fault I skim read it. It is an old one.0 -
What's the new one?0

Quick update - I received a reply from UKCPM in response to my data request. They replied to say they could not process my request because they could not prove my identity and they provided quite a long claim form, and asked me to complete it, along with several ID and a detailed reason why I wanted the information.
Is that normal?
Should I reply to them?0 -
I wrote this on another thread earlier this evening...Do not send photo Id. They are not entitled to it and have nothing to compare the photo against.Dear Sirs,
Please find enclosed 1) a copy of the vehicle's Registration Document, and 2) a copy of the original Parking Charge Notice.
Both these clearly identify me and my address and show that I am entitled to all the information you have about me and my vehicle.
If you fail to respond to the Subject Access Request fully within the allotted timescale, I shall not hesitate to report your failing to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Yours faithfully...0 -
KeithP, if I don't have a copy of the original parking notice, is there anything else you'd recommend?0

A copy of your V5C plus a copy of any paperwork they have sent you. If they still refuse to cooperate, a report to the ICO is in order.0
