But that's good, maybe they will explain to a judge about abuse of process. That's 5 emails to show a judge with no reply. Even a judge would see it's a scam
I think that the advice given about the BWLegal should be highlighted in the Abuse of Process link

Keeper will email them every couple of days. They demanded £240.72 to be paid to avoid court action. The total cost to keeper, if BW were awarded they full amount on their claim would be, yep you guessed it. £240.72 at that time. Attempting to claim court costs without going to court. Tsk-tsk.Do not give in to Private Parking firms. Fight them all the way!0

Go for it, the more emails they ignore the better. I would be asking the court what game are they playing ?
The fact is that BWLegal are a failure and they should give up their scam and go back to chasing overdue gas bills0 -
Well, well. They have sent a letter stating that the amount they were attempting to claim does indeed include the court fees etc! They have supplied a breakdown of the amount!
Another email has been sent to ask if payment of the balance, or an arrangement to pay the balance would result in avoiding court action. Watch this space....Do not give in to Private Parking firms. Fight them all the way!0 -

The court fee is £25. How do they break it down0 -
The breakdown is;
PCN amount £100,
Contractual Costs £60,
Claim Issue Fee £25,
Solicitors Costs £50,
Interest £5.72.
Exact wording.Do not give in to Private Parking firms. Fight them all the way!0 -

Exact wording.
Contractual Costs £60 <<<< that's the abuse of process
You need to ask them what their view is on .....
the protection of freedoms act 2012, Schedule 4 in relation to the contractual charge of £60
You already know the answer, the law knows the answer but what will BWLegal answer0 -
PoFA 2012, Section 4, par 4.5 states that only the amount specified on the Notice to Keeper can be claimed, clear Double Recovery and a blatant Abuse of Process. But attempting to claim court costs without going to court, that cannot be legal surely?Do not give in to Private Parking firms. Fight them all the way!0
