Different banks have given me same customer ID

You might want to edit your thread title to reflect the fact that different banks haven't given you the same customer ID!
Some characters may be the same but you wouldn't say you'd seen different cars with the same registration number on seeing a line of newly sequentially-registered vehicles on a dealer forecourt....1 -
Id noticed this and put it down to banks using the same software. I think that Newcastle Building Society provide services to a number of financial instituions, hence the similarity0
