Experience with Integrated Extractor Fans/Hoods

Hi everyone,
So we have been saving for 5 years and finally getting a new kitchen. Basically gutting everything.
We love minimal design so going for handleless flat slab matte doors. We don't want an extractor fan, 'on view' so we are going to opt for an integrated one.
From what I seem there are 3 different types:
TELESCOPIC - https://www.thewrightbuy.co.uk/media/catalog/product/t/e/tel600ss_3_2.jpg
PULL OPEN - https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41DNpMOzVcL._SR500,500_.jpg
STATIC - https://johnlewis.scene7.com/is/image/JohnLewis/230412069?$rsp-plp-port-320$
Hob is 60cm wide and the extractor fan will be 60cm wide
Has anyone any experience with any of these types?
We don't want our cabinets to get damaged by steam/moisture and of course want them to extract well (at least 400m3/h)
Many many thanks
M

You need to decide whether you're going to vent externally or recirculate. Venting to the outside is preferable and the pull open type is best suited to that. I have a Bosch version and it works really well but you do lose the use of a cabinet above the hood whereas the other two are simply attached to the underside of the cabinet.0

We have a pull open which works fine. whichever design you go for look at the sound levels, the quieter the better obviously. Some can be really loud.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

Great. Thanks!
It will be an extractor type.
@neilmcl Do you mind telling me which Bosch it is that you have?
I am all over the dB levels. I micromanage everything lol
Would you both mind telling me how long you have used the pull out fan and if there is any tell tale signs of wear on your cabinets? I know cabinets are built differently :-)
I did like the look of that type but was just a bit wary that the steam goes up the back of the cabinet door that is pulled open.
Thanks!

Had mine for a good 7 years or so, which replaced an older one, no wear on cabinets at all. If you do get steam condensing on the underside then that's simply because you haven't set the speed high enough, having said that mine has 3 speeds but I've never had the need to run it a maximum.0 -
@neilmcl Puts my mind at ease. Thanks for that. Anything could happen after the renovation but at least I know I am making semi-correct choices ;-)0

Mine's been in about 15 years, still as good as new. It doesn't touch any cabinets so there is nothing to wear.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

Extractor fans do tend to get a bit sticky from the condensation and grease, so I'd bet you'll soon give up on opening and closing it every time you use it and just leave it open.
I'd find a nice looking fixed one.0 -

You don't touch the fan, you pull the handle on the false door. If that's getting mucky I'd question your cleaning regime!
Changing the filters can be a mucky job though!Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -

The filters became jammed solid in the pull-open hood at my folks' place. I finally got fed up with it and replaced with a trad fixed hood. It was pretty grim inside and too bitty to clean easily, so don't think I'd have one again.0 -
...and what about the static one that just sits underneath. Anyone got one of those. I see loads of them in contemporary kitchen pictures. There are no video reviews/demos online.0
