I'm with VM and yes they try to block it. I've tried it an hour ago, just for this thread and got on. So many mirror sites that the ISPs are finding it difficult.
That said, I wouldn't use it in anger without a VPN anyway.;)

Yes, You were and probably still are with A&A, whom I rate to be the best isp in the uk, but also not cheap, and still had quotas too last time I looked

I had selected uk server from my vpn (windscribe) and the...bay.org was blocked by cloudfare.

Well I have my serious reservations regarding opera VPN since its now owned by Chinese who censors their own internet! Expecting privacy from Opera is highly doubtful. I however recommend ExpressVPN as my go to choice to bypass GDPR lock out. This VPN services has been tried and tested and doesn't even fall in 5 eyes 9 eyes and 14 eyes countries. However its not free but excellent privacy my friends comes with a cost.
