lol definately a case of shill bidding. the question is what can i do? or should i do anythign?

As Helen states, report him to Ebay for shill bidding, just list all the ebay id's that have been listed in the thread, and they'll investigate it.

    It is pretty obvious.

Depending on how long they take, you may even avoid a negative if you string the seller along about payment delays (This is what I would do, but make your own decision)

    Cheers, Des.

the thing is that i the reason i bought them is that i have a contact who i can sell them on to.however im not sure what i can do. i dont want to threaten him with reporting him to ebay, but then again shill bidding is against ebay rules.

It's not just against ebay rules, it is unfair on genuine bidders.

Do the right thing - report the shill bidding. And don't buy from the fraudster either.

Report all the ids involved (i'm sure quite a few of us already have) ebay will sort out whether they are shill bidders or not.

Just noticed, one of the ids reported looks like the one that won the original auction that started this thread....
