Is Chartersavings bank real?

I opened a savings account last week, but had a grilling today by fraud at my current account bank trying to transfer funds to it. Advisor never heard of the bank and asking.
Are your sure all the bank details etc ,etc , are genuine, the letter they send can be intercepted by fraudsters and can be a fake website.
My head was spinning afterwards and they asked me to make sure details are genuine.
I have set payments to their sort code and acc no
83495248
20-19-90.
Can someone confirm this bank is real.

It's a bit late to be asking if they're real after opening an account with them, but yes, they are!

    As per their website footer
Charter Savings Bank is a trading name of Charter Court Financial Services Limited which is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority (Financial Services Register Firm Reference Number 494549)
and this is duly confirmed by the FCA register entry: https://register.fca.org.uk/ShPo_FirmDetailsPage?id=001b000000NMRUpAAP

Their FAQ (https://www.chartersavingsbank.co.uk/Help/FAQ) confirms payment details:

Please ensure your bank or building society correctly quotes your reference; without this we may not be able to allocate your money to your account and may have to return it without interest.
Sounds like you got an advisor who wasn't particularly well informed but bank staff are expected to be very vigilant and diligent when it comes to spotting and preventing potential APP (authorised push payment) scams, all the more so now that the banks are on the hook for the consequences....

I've just had a savings bond mature with them. Infact they've recently put on a 1 year saving at just over 2% so may go with them again. All straight forward dealings with them

Strange place, Charter Savings. I took out some money at "The earliest possible date" & it appeared in my linked account 96 days later. After a couple of months I asked to remove some more money at "The earliest possible date" & it appeared in my linked account 2 days later. The next time it went back 95 days.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
