I'll be honest - I haven't read anything more than the title nor looked at your listing.

Your car isn't selling because it's priced too high. Even a car with no engine will sell if it's priced correctly.

Asking £6,000 for a 6-year old Megane with no MoT is optimistic in the extreme.

I'd advise taking the ads down until the MoT is passed, then re-advertise it with the full year's test.

As others have said above, you need to be realistic and admit you're a much less attractive seller than a dealer who will offer (in theory) some warranty/comeback if the car turns out to be a lemon, accept a part exchange and potentially arrange finance. Not many people will have that sort of money in savings, and want to risk it on a sale with zero comeback.

Or someone trying to get rid of a problem car so bad they'll take anything else. That and the MOT will get everyone but the chances to skip the ad.

Your add say "12 month MOT" but that's not true, it's expired. If it was me, i wouldn't even view the car because of that.
