New speed camera

A new speed camera has gone up near my dad's, replacing an older style forward facing one. I've never seen this style before and was wondering if it was a new type. It has a sleeker, narrow yellow casing housing the camera and on a pole about 2 feet above is an orange disc, possibly the infra-red flash. Any ideas what it is?

Why has your dad got a speeding camera? Doesn’t he trust your driving?

I think that type can spin round and face either direction, dont know what the orange disc/ light is....night vision ?

The Orange disc is the laser or tractor beam,it blows the car up at 50 mph.

Laser I can understand, but surely a tractor beam only affects farm vehicles?
