Hi
Signed up for a portable internet deal at £22pm with 3.
The first month they took over £55. We phoned to query this and they said we had signed up at £60pm. We had not received the 14 day cooling off letter until well after this, so they said it was too late to cancel (hardly our fault). They said they would reduce things to £22pm though.
The following payment they took £48 and when we queried this they said 'the systems hadn't yet been updated' though it was nearly a month after the previous call.
They now assure us that although they can't refund us as such, our account is now well in credit and they won't take any more until this has been used up. We asked for this in writing but that hasn't turned up either. Should we trust them not to take more money or cancel the DD for now - just afraid that if we do more hassle and charges will follow.
Very frustrated - thanks.

It doesn't like any sort of a rip off, but an admin error, which appears as if it will resolved.0

Thanks, we've had a run of 'admin errors' so far though, all of which have cost us money, hence the lack of trust going forward.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

If you cancel the DD the chances are that they'll charge you for the full term as you'd have broken the terms. That's when things get serious and debt collectors get mentioned. Surely you can see online whether you're in credit or not?0
