Am I Entitled

Ive booked a flight through Opodo. Flight is Return Flight from London to Africa , and Africa (distance of 4,761 Miles) to London in Sept.


I booked flight 3 weeks ago and yesterday Opodo email me and said return leg has changed. The day of return is same but my original flight (due to depart at 7:45 AM has been cancelled.) and they have offered me next flight which is on same date but time different at 13:30 . so 5-6 hours difference.


Opodo telephone contact seems to be in Asia and tells me I am not entitled to compensation.


Can anyone clarify if I accept the flight ( as I have no other choice having reserved villa etc) will I be entitled to compensation and how to I get the compensation (is it by writing to Opodo or the Airline)

compensation is due when you are given less than 14 days notice of the cancellation.
