POPLA cut off date missed

I have missed the POPLA cut off date by a week and have received a letter from ParkingEye asking for full payment due to no POPLA appeal. Should I post an appeal to popla anyway.
The letter from ParkingEye is a Letter Before County Court Claim. Just wondering if anyone can advise me as to whether I should ignore the letter, write back to them or post an appeal to POPLA.
Any advise much appreciated.

See if the POPLA website will let you submit an appeal. Have you tried for a landowner cancellation? If not see if the landowner will cancel it.0

Appeal anyway, the law
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/alternative-dispute-resolution-for-consumers/alternative-dispute-resolution-for-consumers
allows up to 12 months for ADR to kick in.
Their signs are rubbish anyway, read this

and enlist the support of your MP as nine times out of ten these tickets are scams.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
If you've received a LBCCC from PE, you need to start dealing with it. The NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2 will guide you from the receipt of the LBCCC through to the actual court hearing.
Once the PE court claim boulder starts rolling down the hill, they rarely give up, so this is not something to ignore, you need to move on it.
EDIT TO AMEND
Thanks to Quentin for spotting incorrect post# (above). Now corrected. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Post #2 of the NEWBIES thread specially talks about a ParkingEye LBCCC being a chance to email them and the retailer because P/Eye WILL CANCEL even at this stage (but not if you ignore them). The letter from ParkingEye is a Letter Before County Court Claim.
Have you done that yet, as the sticky thread coaches you to do at this stage?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thankyou,
I have sent via their privacy policy page the following:
dated photos of the signs that are said to be on site
all photographs taken of this vehicle on all occasions of entering and exiting the car park during the period in question.
allphotos taken
all letters/emails sent and received
all data held and all evidence to be relyed upon
a list of all PCNs they considered outstanding against this VRN or address as any claim must be for all PCNs in one claim, not several separate claims.
Is there anything else I should be doing in the meantime?0 -
That sounds like a SAR to me
You should be concentrating on getting a landowners cancellation, as you were told earlier0 -

That's your best chance of killing this
As you have been repeatedly advised!! By 4 different posters,!!
And considerably less involved than constructing a popla appeal!!
Why not give it a try??0 -

Thankyou for all the explanation marks!!!
Are you saying a SAR or landowners actions are the best way of getting this cancelled? The posters above have advised on popla, sar and landowner cancelling.
There is little chance of getting the landlord to cancel without proof of payment. Or do you think they will without it?0
