is it possible to see where my ebay page is linked to?

an item i have on has had over 300 views since last night, i just want to see if it's linked somewhere hence my high traffic.

is it possible to see like on youtube?
helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)

If you have an eBay store, the traffic reports would showing you any referring links, if you do not have a store then you would need to add a tracker code from someone like histats.com, or statcounter.com - This is a few lines of code that you copy and paste into the description that can not be seen by viewers, but it records where the viewers come from, and loads of other data about them.

If you have Google Toolbar installed on your machine, it is possible to click the backwards links option to see where some links come from, but auctions are rarely indexed quickly enough by Google to capture this data.

Search the name or number of your item on google, adn see if it comes up as posted in some forums or something.
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

eBay Shop traffic reports are great, especially when you see where some of the hits are coming from & the discussions on the forums about your products.

For those who have a eBay Shop, here's the link: http://cgi6.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?TrafficReporting
  • I had an item last week with 555 hits and I have a shop.the traffic report did not show and unusual visits and nothing like that number I also googled item and number - no joy, so I came to the conclusion it was a blip. Yours might be too. In fact my shop traffic would lead me to believe it was more like 50 hits - talk about mark up!!

Omniture may only provide user hits rather than page hits i.e. 50 people looked at / refreshed the page 10 times each.

Have you check through Finding Methods > referring domains?

According to the page views we had a 3 fold increase on the 28th November last year, I wonder what we had for sale?

Did you search the referring domains for the individual page?

Traffic Reports > Finding Methods > Referring Domains

Above the graphs, there is a link that will say Selected Page : Entire Site. Click "Entire Site" and then "Show more choices"

Choose the relevant page, and the referring domain report for that page will open. Normally the top domain is eBay.co.uk, and clicking on that will open up a list of specific searches that led viewers to your item.
