EDF will speak to me in the phone.

Yeah them changing the DD is a right pain. And wrong.
But doing quarterly direct debits fixes that.

I was N power customer for some years.
Not good prices in my region now.
Had to keep an eye on their billing too.

Fair enough, AndyPK. They told me, on the phone when I was considering becoming a customer, that online tariff customers had to confine themselves to online communication. I am not sorry I did not give them my business. At least we have the Eon thread...

Yeah they won’t sign you up for an online tariff over the phone.
But after that they seam ok if you need to deal with things.

No, they specifically told me their call centre staff would refer me to online chat were I to sign up to an online tariff. I did not like the way they spoke to me. SSE were really polite but were going to force a smart meter on me. The jury is still out as far as Eon are concerned; there is just too much double-talk, even from Malc, imho. So far, don't trust Eon an inch and miss nPower's website. I can't see a damned thing on Eon's and it's all tiny and red; don't like it. :(

I was an Sse customer for 2 years and they nagged me everyway they could to get a smart meter. Email txt post calls. Repeat. I wasn’t returning to them!

And they still got fined! For not installing enough smart meters.
