Europcar Difficulty collecting Nectar Points

I regularly hire cars from Europcar who advertise that you can collect Nectar points with every hire. They even have promotions that offer 5x Nectar points from time to time. Problem is that points collection is hit and miss, if I receive them at all they dont match the amount spent and ive never received 5x the points promised in the promotion. Has anyone else managed to collect points successfully?
