My ride is far too hard on low profile tyres. So decided in going to buy some regular profile tyres
I have Peugeot 3008 hybrid

Is this the current 3008 or that sold up until 2016?
Can you not check what the car was originally sold with:
If you do go for 16" rims then you need 215/60 R16
Alternative sizes:
225/50 R17
235/45 R18

Open the door and look around for a sticker that gives the correct tyre pressures for your car. It will also give all the alternative wheel sizes that can be used, usually you can drop down a size but you may not be able to drop down to 16" wheels for your car.0

Bear in mind that a smaller wheel may not clear your brakes.0

Mine is 2013 model and the low profiles are original but I also came up with 215/60 R16 so might go for theseIs this the current 3008 or that sold up until 2016?

Will it not also affect your speedometer? I'm not particularly tech minded, but a different diameter will affect the measurement of speed, will it not? If not, ai am ecstatic to be corrected...

The diameter will be the same as the tyre will be a larger profile to account for the smaller wheel.0 -

It may, however if you take a look at the link posted earlier in the thread it allows you to enter two different tyre sizes and see what difference (if any) there is in diameter.0 -
Have you actually checked whether a 16" wheel is a valid alternative for your model as advised earlier?ChrisK..... wrote: »Mine is 2013 model and the low profiles are original but I also came up with 215/60 R16 so might go for these0 -
