Gas bill

Hi,
Unfortunately they cancelled our bills until it is all resolved so there is nothing on my online account apart from the first bill that was estimated. The estimated bill was okay but then we obviously wanted accurate bills and that's when all this happened. So long story short there is no bill I could show you as we don't have one and the only thing on our account is the estimated pay during September that will be £95.09 for electricity and £708.09 for gas!0 -

What were the readings on the first Estimated Bill that is on your online account ??Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
Sorry that was my typo, yes we provided then with 00601 and 00589 and then when talking with the customer services they asked for all the digits, even decimal.
The readings started with 00589 but we couldn't even input that manually as it was too high according to Spark (it was the first original reading after moving in) and I really wish I could provide any readings from the bill but their online account is awful and there is nothing - as soon as I go to bills etc. It just says we have not generated any bills yet...0 -
I wonder if the previous occupier read the meter completely wrongly and Spark think the meter has gone around the clockNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

Yes I do provide them with the figures such as 00601...005889 etc.
See 'Gas meters - Digital metric meter' two thirds down the page at Citizens Advice.
If you tell us the meter's model number and post a photo (or a link) showing the current reading then it would be easier to see what's going on.We spoke to one of the neighbours earlier (she used to live in the same flat as we do now) and said that they did indeed have same issue with super high bills and it was down to converting the reading0 -
