Watch battery -no refund

Don’t really understand what the issue is
Watch had stopped
Got battery fitted and watch worked
10 hours later it stopped
Fitter checked battery and it’s ok
So watch is now faulty
So unless fitter broke the watch, he’s done nothing wrong and OP is not due any refund
It’s all basic common sense0 -

I had a battery replaced in my watch a few years ago, by a local jeweller's shop ( F Hinds). They wanted £7 for a new battery, but for £10 I could have lifetime replacements. Of course I went for that, and have had 3 or 4 "free" replacements. They even fitted a new seal last time with no charge.0
