Thank you again.
1. & 2. BC wont let me transfer onto it, nor can I pay the MBNA 1 with the BC (debit card only - just tried ;-).
3. MBNA 2 BT offer is 21% APR and 5% fee.
5. Fluid are offering an increase to 2250.
6. The 20K is a car PCP. We've been together 12 years so I trust them completely.0 -
15 months 0% left on the BC and i'm paying 100 pcm. No BT offers available on the BC.
MBNA 2 has 16 months left, the BT offer is 20% APR with 5% fee.
Fluid - up to 2250 no offers, I have to ask customer services to be sure.0 -

A. 0% for 16 months 4.5% fee.
B. 3.9% APR over 36 months 0% fee
I was going to BT the Fluid over to MBNA 1 in a month or so to MBNA 1.
Looking at my debt to net wage ratio, at a guess, how long before
If I put the Fluid and Halifax on the MBNA 1 card that would result in some 0% and some 20% would that be tricky to move the 20% to a BT at some point?
If your Fluid 0% ends in a few months then yes use the 0% MBNA1 offer with 4.5% fee to get rid of it then. In the meantime, move over the £900 from Halifax first.
With regards to moving your ‘old’ debt at 20% on MBNA1, you need to call them and find out how they allocate payments as some companies will use payments towards clearing new debt first (the 0% deal) as opposed to the old interest bearing debt first.
You need to try and throw as much money as you can towards your other debts to bring the balances down as lenders will quite rightly suspect you are struggling and that’s when you don’t get offered any existing customer deals or even are eligible for new 0% cards. I’d say give it another 6 months of trying to clear some balances down and then try again for a new card to get rid of your MBNA1 debt.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. An update: MBNA 2 has upped by credit limit to £8k and BC has offered me a balance transfer with no fee but a rate of 20.2%.
So I'm going to move the MBNA 1 to the BC and then back again to MBNA 1, if there is still the 0% offer.
Question, do these firms look at my credit limit or the actual balance when deciing to offer a card. I'm not sure whether to decline the credit limit increase on the MBNA 2 and Fluid.0 -

Both.
But accept the limits for both either way0 -

I've now emptied MBNA 1, transferring it to the Barclaycard. Do I transfer back onto it using the 16 month 0% offer or wait until the MBNA offer next month? As the balance is zero, am I more likely to get a batter deal? They seems to update the deals on the 1st of every month.0
