You can convert to paper only as long as you give 7 days notice. So many, many months to wait.

Why?  A case heard on the papers is more likely to be steamrollered to a win by the parking firm.

If you have a hearing on papers, how can you be certain that the judge has read the papers? 

Answer, you cannot.  Insist on a face to face hearing, even if it classes with the womens' beach basketball.match between n Sweden and Finland.

Reasons for enquiring about paper verdict :-
1. The Nation's on lockdown so f2f is a risk - frankly I dont want to be breathed on by Judges and Lawers who probaby see many people in the course of their duty (thanks - but no thanks!)
2. I want it over - and its now stuck in the Court Resources cyce of being given a date, then cancelled near the date and pushed back again.

I just watched the story of "Kalief Browder" on Netflix and its the same whiff (only im not in a cell while i wait for my day in Court)

......especially if you read the thread from yesterday, which admittedly was a telephone hearing, where the judge admitted he/she "didn't have time to read" the defence/WS and the defendant lost!

i finally have my [Skype] hearing On Friday. It’s been a good few months so wondering if there was any new developments for us Defendants that I should be aware of?

Hi all - had my video hearing today - great news - I WON !! 

The DJ ruled that the Horizons signage did not give a clear definition of what an "Authorised visitor" is and that i gave enough evidence that i was a genuine visitor. Basically my evidence trumped theirs.

Upset that the DJ did not have any strong opinion on the vexatious litigious behaviour of the PPC and their bogus charges, only that the extra charges were "probably to take advantage of the small claims track" but was quite apathetic about it.  At the end I tried hard to get my additonal cost awarded for 19hrs graft (said its time i should have spent with my kids that i'll never get back) but the DJ wasnt having it, that it was "my choice to spend that time to prepare" (?!) and She did not find Horizons/Gladstones behaviour "Unreasonable" (!!)

So costs wise all i got was 1 day loss of leave - £95. Nothing more as She didnt like the fact that i did not appeal or reply to any one their gazillion letters . So a Lesson to other PPC victims...make sure you appeal ...at least for evidence sake!
