CPM fine

I received a letter from CPM stating that I have a fine of £100 to pay reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days however the date of the offence was on the 28/5/19 and the date issued is on the 2/8/19, I am wondering if there is any grounds to dismiss this as I was reading that they if a firm does not send the ticket within 2 months its not valid, please confirm, thank you

No you have not received a fine.
Read the Newbies thread for info on how to proceed.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
I don't understand, this is my first time, please elaborate, will I still have to pay, what do I do next, what is the link for the newbie form, is this fine dismissible?0

If you click back one page and look at the third thread down you will see: -
If you follow the link, you will find the NEWBIE sticky, where you can read all about PCNs which are speculative invoices not fines. Within post # 1 of that thread you will find an appeal in BLUE text that you should send as KEEPER, not admitting who was driving.0 -
It is not a fine. It is an invoice.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0

So, what can I do, it was delivered 2 months after, do I have to pay the invoice or can I appeal it and not pay anything, I just want a clear answer, thank you0

You confirmed you knew where the stickies are as part of your signup and the importance of reading them before posting/seeking help.
Why have you not done so..?0 -
The clear answer is do some reading.
You have the info you need.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
You really must read the stickies, they are a sine qua non to fighting parking scams
Nine times out of ten these tickets are unlawful, so consider complaining to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
