All that is going to do is confuse the poor thing! I mean who is she trying to kid? It's a shame that she wont get to see the rest of her family.

One less thing for you to worry about though!

The ex wife has told her that daddy is just working away, she hasn't got around to telling her that actually her and daddy are divorced. We only found out just before the wedding so explained it all to her as best as we could, but she's a little bit confused by the whole thing because her mummy (between you and me) is a psycho and won't admit it to her.

    Weird!

On the bright side - there's always fruit cake in that house at Christmas...

Not nosy at all - I'm 32. Because we're not married they don't take my BFs wages into account. There are all sorts of awards out there too - I'm just not eligible for any of them. And the other bonus is the 25% reduction on council tax.

I was lucky enough to go there a few years ago at Xmas. Ex SIL lived in Toronto. Spent Xmas eve skiing in the Laurentian (sp?) mountains outside of Montreal. I can still remember to this day going to the village on Xmas day to ring my Mum and Bing came on the radio with white christmas. It is a memory that will stay with me till the day i die. Loads of snow as well. Lovely Country.

Spent today putting up the xmas village and lights (Some of them) outside my house. Usually takes about 3 days to do that is why I have started early

Mupeteer, sorry about your exam hun, I hope it's not as bad as you think.

Bunny and Toto, I am chuckling (in the nicest possible way :)) at your dodgy, black, infected eyes! Hope you both recover soon xxx.

And Toto, it's lovely to see you back, although I noticed you neatly sidestepped the question about how your wrist held up! ;):D

Keren - cookery teacher? You would be fab at that!!
