Do You know I am sure that I have spent all of this is because my bank/saving's balance's looked healthy and I relaxed, also all the month's of not spending finally caught up with me and I missed the buzz!!!! Mind you at least I survived it and didn't go in the red and without spending my saving's which without this site I am sure I would have!!!
OH yea and I lost a £2 coin yesterday indoor's I just hope one of the kids moved it (and didn't spend it)DEBT FREE 23/FEB/07 TWO YEAR's!! £2 £1020.00 Banked New total £268+ and counting SAVINGS 3000.00- ISA £30. :j0 -
I was a bit naughty last night and had a bet.........I put £10 on Croatia to win
I was rather pleased with the resultbut even more pleased when I logged into Betfair to find my winnings of £84 (Croatia were a shade over 7/1 to beat England) plus a very unexpected £25 bonus credit (I think it was because it was a new account), so I transferred £109 back to my bank :T :T :T
............runs off to hide for being so unpatriotic........."Stay Wonky":D

Ha Keren!
That's hilarious!!!!
Wish I'd thought of that....
My sister called me last night from a pub in Toronto asking if I was watching 'the game'-how about NO!!! I don't give a stuff about football.
Off work again today with dodgy eye-it's either conjuctivitis or a sty but off to the doctors in a bit to see (lol, no pun intended) in the meantime I look like Quasimodo...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Hey everyone, I'm having a pants day. The exam yesterday was awful, almost certainly failed it. Went to the pub afterwards and handed over far too much money for falling down water. Got all emotional when I came home and sobbed all over BF. Now convinced I'll never be a teacher.
Sorry for being on such a downer.Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on
:j NOW DEBT FREE!!!! :jI try to take life one day at a time but sometimes several days attack me at once

Awww hun you are entitled to feel down... but i bet it's not as bad as you think.
Have a hug...:grouphug: (or a dodgy threesome as some of the peeps round here call it!) Analyse that!?
Laughing my head of at Keren! What on earth prompted you to put a bet on? Well done you!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Well, I thought - Croatia are top of the group so are a good team, England only beat Austria 1-0 in a friendly, Owen, Rooney are injured and Beckham was only substitute. England onlyhad their 'lifeline' because Israel beat Russia and I think Steve Maclaren has about as much oomph as a wet teacloth. I thought that 7/1 was a huge price for a team that had already qualified. I just felt there was too much media hype over the game when in reality England are really second rate these days........
Mupeteer - I think maybe it was a release of all the stress and worry of working towards the exam that made you so upset (been there!) - I think you will do much better than you realise. You sound like you will make great teacher. I'd love to teach, I've thought about it loads of times over the years but can't do the course full time and pay the bills etc through working full time on top of that - unless you know a way I can??
Kass - make sure you do see the doctor - I get conjunctivitus every couple of years (touch wood not had it for 3 years now) and it isn't nice. If you ever get stuck in the future, there is a conjunctivtus drop product you can buy from the chemist, rather than having to see a GP. It's quite new but apparently its the stuff you'd get on prescription (or virtually the same)"Stay Wonky":D
