Freezer door left open, now not working!

No not at all. If its deemed there isn't a manufacturing or electrical fault then I need to pay £55 call out fee anyway. But as Alfie says, if the thermal cut out has gone, that might be something under guarantee? Hopefully it will work after a period of 36 hours unpluggedSo you think defrauding the manufacturer or retailer is the correct route?

It was mostly bread I had in there which was semi frozen but I think its ok to re-freeze bread. A couple of home made veggie meals that still had ice in them so I think they were ok too. Peas, sweetcorn and meat all got chucked :-/Did the food defrost, it's not safe to freeze, thaw and freeze again0
