Budget Chromebooks

Is it worth buying a budget (under £200 Chromebook)? or will it be false economy at that price? What is the min RAM and storage I need to be looking for? Just wanted for web browsing, forums, on-line shopping and watching You Tube. Thanks

It's a lightweight operating system, so a ten year old laptop with SSD will be just a fast as a new Chromebook.

Otherwise, better to get a laptop with a decent spec., in so you can run any operating system of your choice.
