Double yellow in a private car park?

Hi all
I received a letter through the door with a parking charge notice for parking on double yellows in a shopping centre car park recently. The evidence is a picture infront and behind the car, however this was a matter of seconds that it occurred. My coolant had been playing up and beeping so I had to get out to top it up.
I know this isn't typical of the usual parking charges and usually I'm happy to challenge these but this ones a bit different.
Any advice?
Company is Parking Control Management Ltd.

Hi
I did this and they have rejected my appeal. They advise me to either pay £60 within 14 days or appeal via theAS.org
Again, any advice?
Thanks

They state that have pared in a manner where I agreed to pay a charge (the car park is free) if you park in the allocated spaces, at the time of the beeping there was no spaces available nearby.
They state signage is clear and informs of contractural obligations.0 -
Everyone is asked to read up on this in the Newbies FAQ thread near the top of the forum
Go there now to get an understanding of the game you are now caught up in
Appeals to IPC companies are futile, and you will see in the FAQ why after getting their rejection you wait and see if a court claim results
Ignore everything except court correspondence or a LBCCA
They have 6 years to start legal proceedings against you0 -
Hi, I have read up, though there's a lot of information there and the majority of it applies to parking chargs, not a charge in regards to a double yellow.0

If this was to go to court I think that they might struggle. Read MC 22 here, it may help.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so consider complaining to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

All part of the same game when it's a PPC! Did you read up on the futility of appeals to IAS?
Throughout here you are advised never to reveal who was driving
You need to edit your OP to remove details of who was driving
The ppcs monitor here and can use your posts against you in Court0 -

Post 1 2:2 of the Newbies Sticky details your situation EXACTLY - overthinking your situation and response is a near-certain way to more grief than is needed from them.0 -

If you weren't parked in the double yellow what on earth were you doing on it to get a ticket? If it's not a parking ticket what do they call it?0
