UC payment this month £0 - old payroll reported earnings incorrectly to DWP

Hi all!
Background to this:
I worked the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of July 2019 at my former employer, and recieved a net pay cheque of £201.18 - my assessment for UC was made on the basis of earnings 2nd July to 1st August, however my employer payroll reported my earnings as £1537.00 - I wish I had recieved that!
As such I have, and will recieve no UC for the next month.
I am actively looking for work and have 3 interviews this week with an aim to starting next week, which would be ideal, but I was relying on UC coming in due to the small pay recieved from my employer this month.
I have appealed today, demonstrated to my job coach at the DWP that I do not receive and did not recieve the amount stipulated by my employer and have submitted an appeal on my behalf.
Do you know how long this would take to be corrected, and if in the meantime there is anything I can do to access funds that I feel I was actually entitled to?

It might be worth checking your Personal Tax Account on gov.uk, somewhere on it you should be able to see the earnings reported by your employer and see if they have sent a corrected Real Time Information report yet.0

Employers need to take more care. You must contact them to get them to correct their error.
It will probably take at least a week for Job Centre/UC to get back to you. Reason is that it may be necessary to ask HMRC to contact the employers, to find out what has happened. This can take time, as employers payroll departments can be difficult to contact.
Your only hope is that the earnings disputes team can easily identify the error the employers have made, without having to ask for HMRC to look into this.
Get on the phone to the employers and see if they can help resolve. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
Hi guys
Update is I took my payslip in and my bank statement and the chap I spoke to was happy to raise it as a dispute, but they seem to be awfully slow at getting back in any form!
Logged into my HMRC account - July was reported as £-7.90 according to the statement so quite how they've come up with £1527 is anyone's guess!
