Personally, I find it hard to believe that anyone in this country is unaware of the Great British Parking Scam.
I should think that given the regular campaigns at the roadside and reported in local and national news media about driving when tired and the need to pull off the motorway at the slightest sign of feeling drowsy a large proportion of the motoring public would be amazed that motorway service areas who operate under licence from Highways England/Scotland/Wales would be allowed to penalise drivers in such a scenario as described by the OP.0 -

Most appeals are done on the company website, not by email
Check out the NTK and their website and follow their appeal instructions so it is done correctly, appealing as keeper, no blabbing about who was driving0 -

By posting here the exact location, date and entry and exit times you have uniquely identified your incident. Not a good idea.
The parking companies are known to trawl this forum just waiting for people to trip themselves up and can try and use posts on your thread against you.0 -

The 'Reason' box looks a more relevant place - it is a mandatory field.
