When I try to create the Phoenix platform I get a message:"Object reference not sent to an instance of an object". And thats all. Can anyone explain this to me, and what must I do? I just want to be ready when my assets arrive.
Has your "on-boarding" been completed? maybe need this done first?

Can anyone confirm that the ITI account number is the old SVS number with SC before it.

@Ronkswood . My old SVS accounts are the same as shown in ITI but with SC in front.

( I was on the point of posting my transfer request to iWeb but I'm holding off in  case they change the account number when fully on boarded)

We won't be able to open a Phoenix trading platform until we are fully on boarded.
Just checked the ITI Capital website....not a peep of explanation or apologies for the delay.

No SMS to me either..they send an email.  Obviously they can not cope with the influx of new clients.  But why did the FCA allow them to purchase if they do not have the staff to deal with this?

If it's of any interest - you can go to the ITI website, and on the Private Investors dropdown options click on "Trading", and at the bottom of that page it gives you options to download the new Phoenix Trading Platform, as well as other options like viewing the Phoenix platform user guide. I downloaded the platform a week or two ago (anyone can download, you don't have to be a client, although it's not possible to actually log into it until our onboarding process is completed. However, there is a faint "demo" button  next to the log in button which lets you have a reduced access to it, so you can start getting familiar with it. I've navigated through enough of it now to learn how to sell all my stocks (whether by instant whole portfolio sale, or selling one by one live, or by placing limit orders... it seems pretty complicated at first, but after a while you can get the gist of it and I think it will be much easier when we have your own portfolios in there and can experiment more directly. But I also reckon that for some of us who are used to much more simple processes, the whole thing is going to be another horrific nightmare...and maybe disastrous if they click on buttons that are committing them to things they don't want... But learning about it now will probably help you to get prepared in advance. Hope that helps.
  • Quick update: if you downloaded the Phoenix Trading Platform, at the bottom of the log-in front page, at the bottom it gives you "More Options". In that there's an option to select either the "Latest" version or the "Stable" version. I had been using the "Latest" version which is downloaded by default, which as the blurb says, is "built by traders for traders" and was a struggle for me to understand and navigate through. Just now I clicked to change it to the "Stable" version - which downloads a much much easier interface, with a helpful BOT button, where you can just type in instructions for what you want to do. I guess those of us who are non professionals might prefer to use the "Stable" version, and in fact maybe that might be the system that we get sent to by default if we onboarded as retail clients rather than as professionals. Life just got a whole load easier... (now just have to patiently wait for the onboarding process to be completed).

It looks like Linux, Windows and Mac are supported in Phoenix but not Android or Ios.

Looks extremely over complicated for what I want to do which is basic buying and selling.

Did you select the "create phoenix account" in your login/dashboard area or do you download the platform first?
