Daughter's First Mobile Phone Contract

My daughter has opened her first bank account and wants to get a contract phone to build up a credit history. She was knocked back from orange as she had no credit score. Anyone any ideas as to how she can get started?

or get her to try t-mobile for the u-fix tariff, she can't run up a bill on that and they are generally easier to pass on
:p It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt
  • I 2nd tmobile, I was refused from every other network but tmobile gave me a contract, it was capped in the beginning so I couldnt run up big bills, brilliant :)

Thanks. Will look into that, she does need a new phone as well though, as her pay-as-u-go one is on it's last legs!!
  • Thanks. Was advised about this by Carphone Warehouse and will look into it. A worry though, it'll be my deposit!!
