Hello all yes I'm ok thanks just been offline for a while. I found myself getting caught up in too much tech so I took a week's break which turned into a few months !! Anyway it is good to hear from you and thank you for your concern. I've been busy working and dodging the dreaded COVID though many of my clients have succumbed and though feeling poorly have not needed hospitalising so the vaccine appears to be working.
Tilly had another op to remove more teeth but is fully recovered now although she is showing definite signs of slowing down (well she will be 15 in March so to be expected). The kitchen has been fitted and am very happy with it, even managed to squeeze in a dishwasher which is a life changer I kid you not. I also had the rear garden landscaped for a very reasonable sum by my granddaughter's husband. It's looking great but needs planting up now, I have put a couple of shrubs in and have moved a couple of plants from the front but will need to wait until spring now. I'm waiting for a new garage door to arrive as it has had to be custom made as the garage is the original 1950's one and the door is smaller than average. I guess people had smaller cars in those days.
GD2 got married at last in July as restrictions were lifted though we were still not able to be in the room for the ceremony. My daughter managed to set up a link to stream it onto the big screen so we got to see her marry and everyone had a good time and there is now a baby on the way, due in May.
Work is as busy as ever but I am managing to put boundaries in place so I balance out time for me too so all in all life is good.
I hope you are all well and thriving. Let me know what you've been up t while I've been away.
I'm off to catch up with some diaries.
Speak soon

Thanks savingholmes, it's good to be back.
Work is a bit chaotic at the moment as a lot of the students I work with are falling foul to COVID. None have been hospitalised but fairly poorly all the same, so there has been a lot of changing appointments or going to Zoom at the last minute and my diary has so many crossings out and alterations it is getting hard to read. Still, I'm just glad everyone is ok.
On Friday I went to the Christmas fare that my friend and I attend annually and was cancelled last year. Though it was a lovely day, there weren't as many exhibitors there and it didn't feel very Christmassy at all. However, I was pleased that I only bought items for presents that were budgeted for and a pack of 3 'fake' candles that I wanted for a jar that doesn't have ventilation so no good for real candles.
I have noticed that Tilly is becoming incontinent, we have ad 2 accidents recently, one over the weekend and again today, but the worrying thing is that she doesn't seem to be aware of it happening. I'm going to speak to the vet tomorrow to check that it isn't due to the heart medication she is taking, though I doubt it as she's been taking it for about 6 weeks. The trials of getting old I suppose but the problem is that both times she has done it on the furniture. Poor Tilly
well I'm going to bung the evening meal in the oven ( had lunch late today) an d while it's cooking I shall sort out the presents I have and make a new list of what I still need to get. Then tomorrow I will book a slot to do some wrapping.
Stay warm everyone and have a cosy evening

Glad you are doing okay. Hope you get to the root of what's going on with your dog.

Good evening all,
I'm catching a moment to catch up while I wait for my final (Zoom) client of the day, well week actually as I'm off to my friends to get some last minute Christmas stuff done and possible go to the outdoor carol concert in the evening. Work is very busy but only as I'm trying to fit everyone in before I finish for Christmas on the 21st until 4th Jan. Woo hoo !! I'm so looking forward to the time off.
Tilly has improved somewhat though there has still been the odd "accident". She has had her last dose of antibiotics this morning so hopefully that will stop now but I'm not sure that it is just an age related thing. We'll see.
I now have most of my shopping done, just a few bits to ort this weekend and then wrapping to do. I always sat that I will wrap as I go but it never happens. How is everyone else getting on with festive preparations?
I'd better get off and get ready for my meeting, might pop back later
take care
