you often can not copy/paste from a PDF :/

Yes, but  theres an obvious solution - just write it out again. No need to post, question etc.
    Just do it.

There are online sites , downloadable programs and Microsoft word that will usually convert a pdf to a word doc

Try openoffice or libre office , they will do it and are free , or copy it out

Pdf2word conversions can be done free using online websites too , this isn't rocket science

Look for solutions , not problems

If you download a PDF rather than just open it, you can usually copy & paste from the download.

In fact, if it is the new template defence, it downloads as a Word document (.docx).

have any of you tried to edit chefdave's work? it's not for the want of trying believe me. i have acrobat so i converted it to a word doc but it's been created in text boxes which are very difficult to edit.  you can't format it that way either and courts are asking for paperwork to be sent in times roman size 11. i spent an hour correcting typos and tidying it up and when i changed the font, all the words seperated. so try doing it yourself and then come back and call me flakey....

would you mind trying to do that please?  it doesn't work for me and it would be good to know if it's an issue my end or in general. thank you

I downloaded the witness statement as a pdf, saved it to my desktop, then opened it in Acrobat, highlighted the text and copied it, then I posted it into a Word document as "KEEP TEXT ONLY".

He didn't write it himself.  He used the words I wrote.

His supplementary WS is basically post #14 of the abuse of process thread verbatim on page 2 here:
