Paying holiday hotel ... cash or currency card ?

Options
I’m due to go away next week and have booked the hotel
Direct , to be paid locally . Obviously the euro is awful at the moment , the price has gone up by £15 per person from
When we booked it ! I have the money loaded onto a monzo currency card however I’m not sure if I will get a better rate paying it through the card direct or to draw cash out here and buy Euros before I go ? Any ideas anyone 😉

There's no such thing as a 'Monzo currency card', do you mean their bank account? If so, use the debit card to pay (in euros).

Buying cash euros will cost you more (on the same day) because of the margin you pay.

It's really the pound that is awful, so you need more to buy a euro. The rate could go either way at any time....
    Evolution, not revolution
  • Yea sorry they changed to bank account ! But that’s great thanks :)
