Bumping of Daily comps

i have a sub-folder in my bookmarks called 'dailies' where all the dailies that i want to enter are. i enter them before i do any other comps, every morning. i get all of these from the dailies thread.
it's really not hard to do this. it is just people bumping to get likes/boost their post count
this also means that posts bumped for a reason are noticed and not ignored ====================================

I find it sad that there's been a lot of negativity recently over something which most of us do as a fun hobby. does it reeeaallly matter? Is it worth writing post after post about and having a go at other compers about? Maybe just let the competition run til the end date and move on2021 wins: mother and baby bundle, 1 year of broadband

Actually yes it does. The board works because we have rules. Once the rules start to be disregarded then the board starts to work less well and the knock on effect can be less fun for everyone.
Choosing to ignore the no bumping of dailies just because it suits you is one of those rules if ignored could break the board.
It does come over that those bumping it are doing it just for the "Thanks". I know how desperate some people are to get tea with martin but if Laks hasn't got there yet the rest of us have no chance. It also comes over as selfish; basically they are saying I am going to ignore the rules when it suits me and sod the rest of you.Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.
Virtuous action, now, at this very moment.

Willing acceptance - now, at this very moment - of what you can’t change0
