    If you switch your MSE bookmark to sort by thread start date rather than newest post, bumped threads become largely unnoticeable.

    but that means missing potential useful bumps just because of all the pointless ones.

    So who was the culprit? Because all I see is Moneybot bumping. Had I not seen this thread I would have thought Moneybot had gone bonkers.

    I look for new MD posts by using the search, so bumping screws the search up. We don't all comp the same, and we try and compromise. Things were working fine as they were (as in, there hasn't been an argument for ages!!)

    Thank you but I am as sane as I ever was.

    The hamper thread was getting bumped daily for no reason than to gain thanks as far as I could see and the rule of the no bump was getting broken down.

    There was no compromise just people to lazy to bookmark ....
